In coordination with the National Science Museum, Esso held this activity as part of the efforts to advance science education for youth in the rural areas while Ban Nongsarai School was selected by the winning team from the Step and Run for Education contest which was held among Esso and ExxonMobil employees in Thailand.
Esso has supported the science caravan by National Science Museum to promote science learning beyond the classroom for youth nationwide since 2016. The science caravan consists of interactive science exhibition, STEM maker challenge and fun science shows. In 2018, the science caravan travelled to 54 provinces in Thailand.
In addition to the Ban Nongsarai School, this activity will be held at Wat Chulamanaee School in Ayutthaya, Kuruchon Pattana School in Yala and Ban Wang Kwang School in Pattani. All selected schools are under the patronage of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej for sustainable education and students' moral values development.
